St. Fiachra's Garden and The Japanese Garden at the Irish National Stud

One of the monastic cells on the grounds of St. Fiachra Garden. St Fiachra is a descendent of an Irish King and during his life as a monk he encouraged his followers to cultivate gardens and distribute produce to the poor. He was honored by the French in 670 AD, after his death,  as the patron Saint of Gardeners (he founded a hermitage at Breuil, France).
